Applications are now open for the 2024 MTN Media Innovation Programme. The Programme is a 6-week, six-month program for Nigerian media practitioners. It is designed to broaden participants’ knowledge and skill sets, as well as help them understand the changing media landscape and how to use technology effectively to create impactful media content.
The six-month, fully funded fellowship tailored for Nigerian media professionals, is meant to foster the growth of the country’s evolving media landscape. This unique opportunity is open to practitioners across all media platforms, encompassing print, electronic, online, and social media creators. The fellowship program is strategically crafted to deepen participants’ insights into Nigeria’s dynamic technology sector and its intersection with media. Moreover, it aims to equip fellows with adaptable skills to navigate the shifting landscapes of media and technology. Throughout the fellowship, participants will benefit from access to professional resources and mentorship provided by the esteemed faculty of the SMC.
Criteria:
Must have a valid International Passport
Must be a media professional/practitioner
Must pass a written test and any subsequent interviews
Must get a written release from employers to participate in the programme

33 Days in Class
All accepted candidates will spend 33 days in class in the course of the training.
7 Days in South Africa
An all expense paid trip to SouthAfrica for a 7 days training.
1 Day in MTN Nigeria Headquarters
Candidates will be tutored at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and MTN Group Headquarters.
1 Industry Visits and Tours
A one day training at the Innovation Hub.
