2024 Federal Government Scholarship Opportunity for Young Nigerians
The Federal Ministry of Education is pleased to announce the commencement of applications for the 2023/2024 Federal Government Scholarship Awards, including the Nigerian Scholarship and Education Bursary Award.
This initiative aims to support the educational pursuits of deserving Nigerians in public tertiary institutions across the country.
Eligibility Criteria:
For postgraduate studies, candidates must hold a minimum of a first degree with Second Class Honours in the Upper Division.,
Applicants should be registered full-time students of Federal or State Universities in the country.
Furthermore, Undergraduate, Higher National Diploma (HND), and National Certificate of Education (NCE) students must be in their second year or above of study.
Undergraduate applicants, including those with disabilities, must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of 4.0 on a five-point scale or its equivalent.
All NCE and HND applicants should have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0.
Fields of Study to Be Considered for The Award Are as Follows:
Science and Technology
Medicine and Medical Sciences
Education Agriculture
Liberal Arts/Social/Management Sciences
Entrepreneurial Studies
Information and Communication Technology
Environmental Sciences.

Print the completed form for reference.

The registration portal will be open from April 2nd, 2024, to May 13th, 2024.
Important Information:
Awards are tenable in Nigeria and commence from the beginning of the academic session.
No Award shall be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies.
Change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award.
