The governor made the declaration at at a Sallah Durbar festival organized by the former governor of the state, Babangida Aliyu on his farm in Minna.
He stated that he had ordered security men to shoot at sight any thug found threatening the peace within the state.
The governor’s order comes on the heels of the resurgence of the activities of thugs.
Two persons were reportedly killed, while several others were injured on Friday night in Minna due to the resurgence of the activities of thugs.
