A 29-year-old woman, Hanaa, has reportedly killed her five-year-old son, Youssef, with a machete at their home in Egypt.
The woman thereafter boiled and eats parts of his head.
TREND REPORTERS learnt that the police have arrested the woman after her son’s uncle discovered the boy’s body parts in buckets at the family house.
It was reported that the woman confessed to the police she had eaten part of her son’s head because she “wanted him to stay with her together”.
The woman equally told the police she cooked her son’s head and other parts of his flesh on the stove in boiling water before eating them.
Following her arrest, the woman claimed she suffered from a mental illness and had no plan to kill her son.
Hanaa and her son had been living alone after she and her husband divorced.
