Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has congratulated Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his election victory in the 2023 presidential election.
This is contained in a statement from the Office of the President-elect, signed by Tunde Rahman and made available to newsmen.
The statement stated that Zelenskyy also invited Tinubu to visit the war-torn country.
Zelenskyy, in a congratulatory letter, expressed delight at the conduct of the 2023 Nigeria’s general elections and particularly praised the victory of Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria.
The statement added that Zelenskyy expressed his country determination to further strengthen its cooperation with Nigeria.
