A man recognized as Nima Momeni has been arrested by the police in San Franscisco in connection with the murder of CashApp founder, Bob Lee.
The 38-year-old suspect was identified as a resident in the Bay Area city of Emeryville.
In a Twitter post, San Francisco Board of Supervisors member, Matt Dorsey praised the police for arresting the suspect.
Bob Lee reportedly bled to death after he was stabbed in the wee hours of April 4th in Rincon Hill neighborhood.
The late 44-year-old software engineer had served as Chief Technology Officer of Square and helped launch Cash App in 2013.
He joined cryptocurrency and digital payments startup MobileCoin as Chief Product Officer in 2021.
The late American businessman was equally the Chief Technology Officer of Block.
