Twitter owner, Elon Musk has announced some major feature additions to the microblogging platform.
In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Musk said Twitter will get video, audio calls and encrypted chat features soon.
According to him, with the latest version of Twitter, users can reply to any message in a thread.
Musk further stated that the encrypted DMs V1.0 trial will commence on May 11, 2023.
The Twitter owner added that the voice and video chat features would not necessarily mean giving out users’ phone numbers.
