The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is to charge Nigerian songwriter and singer, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, to court upon conclusion of investigation into a case naira notes mutilation.
The Lagos Zonal Command of the commission made observation while confirming the arrest of the 31-year-old crossdresser for allegedly spraying Naira notes.
In a statement via X on Thursday, the anti-graft agency said it invited Bobrisky following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju.
The movie was said to have been produced by a Nollywood actress and producer, Eniola Ajao, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
The anti-graft agency further confirmed that Bobrisky had committed the alleged offence at some other event centres and parties on different occasions.
