Benzima Blames Teammates over Goal Drought

Al-Ittihad striker, Karim Benzema, has voiced his frustration over his three-month goal drought, attributing it to lack of support from his teammates.

Despite his illustrious career at Real Madrid, where he garnered numerous accolades including the Ballon d’Or, Benzema has struggled to replicate his success in his new environment.

With only nine goals to his name this season, Benzema expressed his disappointment during an interview with Action with Walid.

He highlighted the differences in gameplay and the quality of teammates compared to his time at Madrid, emphasizing the need for assistance on the pitch.

“It’s a different game here, with different players. I rely on my teammates for support.

“Winning games isn’t a solo effort. I require support and cooperation from my teammates to perform at my best,” Benzema stated.
