Vice President, South South, National Youth Council of Nigeria, comrade Innocent Ajayi has felicitated with Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.
In a congratulatory message, Comr. Ajayi who served as Senior Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to the Governor observed that the victory has proven that the integrity of the judiciary is still intact.
While observing that Edo people are happy over the judgment, the NYCN Vice President emphasized that the Supreme Court judgment has re-echoed the mandate given to Governor Obaseki by Edo people through the ballot.
Comr. Ajayi observed that with the Apex Court judgment, the governor can now focus on the development of the state.
He called on governor Obaseki to do more in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development to take Edo State to greater height.
Comr. Ajayi equally called on the governor to prioritize youth empowerment as a means to reduce crime and unemployment and grow the economy.
