The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has arrived in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The former Rivers State governor arrived hours after a Supreme Court victory against Governor Simi Fubara.
In a video on Friday, the spokesperson for Wike, said his principal had arrived in Port Harcourt.
“Nyerisi has landed in Port Harcourt,” he stated.
The development comes after the apex court on Friday ruled in favour of the immediate past governor of Rivers State, Wike.
The Supreme Court stopped the Central Bank of Nigeria from releasing monthly disbursements to Rivers State until a lawful Appropriation Law is passed under the Martin Amaewhule led House of Assembly.
The Supreme Court equally declared the recently held Rivers local government election illegal.
In his reaction to the rulings , the minister of FCT, in a viral video, said, “God has honoured me.”
