
Four Nigerian officials have been appointed for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, qualifier between Ethiopia and Uganda.
According to the Confederation of African Football, CAF, Seasoned arbiter, Patience Madu will be at the centre.
Madu will be assisted by Abibatu Iyaduni Yusuf, Assistant Referee 1, Mfom Friday Akpan , Assistant Referee 2, while Hannah Eliagwu will serve as the fourth official.
South Africa’s Deide Camil Zealand is assigned to take up the role of referee assessor while Christine Mukanboka from Rwanda will act as the Match Commissioner.
The first round second leg encounter is scheduled to hold at the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia next week Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the first leg which ended 2-0 in Kampala on Friday was won by Uganda.
