Seven players have arrived at the Super Falcons training base in Casablanca, ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Players who have arrived include American-based trio: Asisat Oshoala, Michelle Alozie and Deborah Abiodun.
Others are Chinwendu Ihezuo, Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi and new invitee Chioma Okafor.
DAILY POST reports that the players will be joined by their teammates who prosecuted Monday’s international friendly against Portugal on Wednesday in Lisbon.
Seventeen players were available for selection in the 0-0 draw with the Portuguese.
Nigeria will be up against eternal rivals Black Queens of Ghana in another friendly on Sunday.
The Super Falcons will be looking to win a record-extending tenth title when hostilities start in Morocco early next month.
