
United States First Lady, Melania Trump has disclosed that the White House will officially reopen for public tours on Tuesday, 25 February 2025.
In a statement on Thursday, the US first lady expressed happiness at reopening the White House to the public, noting that there is much to learn about the American presidency.
“The President and I are excited to reopen the White House to those interested in the extraordinary story of this iconic and beautiful landmark.
“There is much to learn about the American presidency, the First Families who have lived here, and our nation’s rich history from a firsthand experience at the White House,” Melania stated.
While saying that the US is honoured to continue the tradition for hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year, she described the opportunity as a unique one among nations around the globe.
TREND REPORTERS learnt that public tours of the White House which ae scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, must be requested through Members of Congress, and requests may be submitted up to three months in advance.
