The Police Service Commission, PSC, has concluded arrangements for the recruitment of cadets and constables into the Nigeria Police Force for the year 2025.
The commission’s head of press and public relations, Ikechukwu Ani, made this known in a statement.
The statement pointed out that the chairman of the commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu (retd.), led a strong management delegation on a visit to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission in Abuja, where it sought partnership and cooperation in this year’s police recruitment.
The statement pointed out that Argungu, during the visit, solicited assistance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission to ensure that credible Nigerians are recruited into the Nigeria Police Force.
The PSC chairman observed that data rules the world and expressed the belief that with accurate data that is protected, the commission can plan and ensure that proper background checks will be received on all the applicants who are desirous of a career in the Nigeria Police Force.
He further stated that very soon the PSC will start the recruitment of cadets and the 30,000 constables yearly approved by President Bola Tinubu.
