The Police in Imo State have launch investigation into the shooting of a boy dead by a catholic priest.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Imo State Police Command, Henry Okoye, confirmed that a yet-to-be-identified Catholic priest shot a boy dead after the deceased set off knockouts within the church premises.
However, Okoye, did not made public make public the name and parish of the priest and the name of the deceased, as well.
“The police have commenced an investigation into the matter. This is all I can say for the moment,” he simply declared.
Although details are still sketchy on the incident as at press time, TREND REPORTERS learnt that the priest, whose identity remains undisclosed, picked up a firearm and fatally shot the boy, after the deceased set off knockouts within the church premises
