
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, has been arraigned in court by the Ogun State Police Command.
Portable was arraigned on Thursday morning at the Isabo High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, few hours after surrendering himself to the police.
The police had declared Portable wanted on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority, OGPDPA.
It would be recalled that the the controversial singer reportedly launched an attack on officials of the OGPDPA over attempt to seal his bar over a lack of approved permits and insufficient air space.
The situation resulted into the arrest and arraignment of Portable’s nine associates on a five-count charge of assault, obstruction, armed violence, felony and intent to kill.
