The presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 preidential election, Peter Obi has declared that he will return to Edo, despite threats by the state governor, Monday Okpebholo.
He made the declaration while responding to questions from journalists in Awka over Okpebholo’s warning that his safety will not be guaranteed if he comes to the state.
The former Anambra governor, was at his alma mater, Christ the King College, CKC, Onitsha, to make a donation.
He stated that he was not afraid of threats, noting that he receives threats everyday.
Obi emphasized that if he had need to be in Edo State to make a donation, he would not hesitate to go there.
