The Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II, has urged state governors to support President Bola Tinubu by ensuring peace, unity, and progress across the country.
The Oba of Benin gave the advice when he received governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at his Palace in Benin City.
He expressed the belief that President Bola Tinubu is working hard to ensure the overall growth and development of the country despite being widely criticized.
The royal majesty also called on governors from other states to continue to support Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo for according high respect to traditional institutions in the state.
The chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, had solicited royal prayers and assured the monarch that Governor Monday Okpebholo will fulfill his campaign promises to Edo people.
