The Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare, the second, has appreciated the role of Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises and other organizations involved in the training and empowerment of two hundred and fifty six Nigerians, especially women and youths.
The Benin monarch made the observation in Benin City, Edo State, on May 25, 2023, when he received the managing director of Global Ehimax Trading Enterprises, Mr. Maxwell Amen Iyamu and other guests in his palace.
Mr. Maxwell Amen Iyamu and his team, together with the leadership of Edo National Voice headed by Osaro Culture Iyamu were in the palace to introduce beneficiaries of a two month free physical vocational training, organized in honour of the REVERED OBA OF BENIN KINGDOM, OBA EWUARE THE SECOND.
The training held between February and April 2023.
Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises; an organization fully committed to the eradication of unemployment and poverty, was one of the organizations that put the seminar together.
Receiving the delegation, the Oba of Benin commended the organizers of the training and expressed joy over its success.
The royal majesty announced a monthly stipend for eight women, who benefitted from the training and were physically present during the visit.
The oba of Benin equally announced scholarship for the children of the women.
He called on the organizers of the free vocational training to submit the names of all those who participated in the training in order to assist them with starter packs to launch the trade which they have learnt.
Speaking with journalists, the Managing Director, Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises, Mr. Maxwell Amen Iyamu expressed joy over prayer the warm reception accorded him and his team by the revered Benin Monarch.
‘I was full of joy the moment I was introduced to OBA OF BENIN as one of the facilitators for the women and youths empowerment training and to receive prayer from our king is enough for any body to excel in life. Thanks to Almighty God for this privileged,’ he stated.
He stated that the decision to organize the free skills acquisition training was part of efforts to curb unemployment and assist those who do not have the financial ability to undergo such training.
Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises was founded on 15th October, 2010 by Mr. Maxwell Amen Iyamu and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ehimhen Iyamu.
The company with headquarters in Benin City, Edo State, has a NAFDAC approved factory and it is into the production of cleaning agents like Liquid Dish Wash, Bleach, Tablet Soap, Shampoo, Hair Cream, Jelly Cream, Perfume, Dusting Powder and other household products. This company also has a commercial cleaning outfit.
Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises, a facilitator with the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, on cosmetology, has trained individuals and groups in various trainings sponsored by National Assembly members and various organizations.
It is important to note that the company recently diversified into agriculture and solar system installation.
Global-Ehimax Trading Enterprises hopes to be a complete and standard training hub for both agricultural and non-agricultural sectors in the near future.
