The National Universities Commission, NUC, has accredited all 28 academic programmes for Zamfara State University, Talata-Mafara.
A statement issued by the management of the university revealed that the exercise was held between 16th and 26th February 2025.
The statement observed that the outcome followed the release of the 2025 accreditation of academic programmes in Nigerian universities by the universities commission.
It pointed out that 20 programmes have received full accreditation with excellent scores, while 8 others have received interim accreditation.
While noting that the accreditation is a testament to its academic excellence and quality education, the Zamfara State University expressed gratitude to the state government for the unwavering support and dedication in different areas.
According to the institution, the provision of the necessary funds and resources has been instrumental in achieving the significant milestones.
It added that the achievement would not only enhance the reputation of Zamfara State University but also reinforce its commitment to providing quality education that meets national and international standards.
