Embattled Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has said that nobody can stop her from coming home.
She made the declaration in Okehi Local Government Area, while addressing her followers who gathered to welcome her.
Senator Natasha stressed her connection to her roots and pointed out that she’s not afraid of anybody trying to stop her from coming home.
“Nobody and nothing can stop me from coming home. I’m an Ebira woman; this is my land. I’m the daughter of the late Jimoh Abdul Akpoti. I know my roots; I’m not a bastard, and I’m not afraid of anybody,” Natasha boasted.
The Kogi government had banned rallies and public gatherings across the state ahead of her homecoming, citing security issues.
In the same vein, the Kogi State Police Command issued security alerts, calling on the suspended lawmaker to shelve the planned rally.
Despite the move to stop large gatherings, hundreds of supporters welcomed Natasha as she arrived in her hometown.
