The Nationwide League One, NLO, have suspended the playoff competition scheduled for the Shagamu centre.
The suspension followed a pending appeal submitted by Positive FA against the NLO’s decision to withdraw their team for not honouring two matches in the season.
DAILY POST reports that a new date is expected to be communicated for the start of the playoff after the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, appeal Committee deliver their decision on the matter.
The memo was communicated to all the participating clubs billed to take participate in the tournament.
Morak FC, Adeyemi FC, Ekiti United and Hammola FC are the participating teams in the playoff.
“The NLO Secretariat hereby wish to inform all the concerned clubs scheduled for promotion playoff in Shagamu that the matches has been suspended due to a pending appeal submitted by Positive FA decision of NLO summary jurisdiction on the withdrawal of their team for not honouring two matches during te season,” the memo partly read.
