The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Territory, Tunji Disu, made this public on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the commissioner, a team led by a Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Sarki Umar, intercepted a white Peugeot 15-seater bus on January 6 while heading to Nasarawa State.
Disu stated that the bus was believed to be conveying the children aged between 4 and 12 years, from Kano State.
The police commissioner disclosed that the driver of the bus, Ali Ibrahim and his assistant, Alhassan Ibrahim, were arrested on the spot.
He added that preliminary investigations revealed that the children were being transported to Nasarawa under the guise of receiving training.
