Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has assured residents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to maintaining security across the state.
He gave the assurance in his 2025 New Year goodwill message to the people of the state.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado on Tuesday, Mohammed warned that no criminal elements or their collaborators would find safe haven in the state.
While highlighting the state government’s continued support for security agencies, he urged residents to cooperate with security personnel by reporting suspicious activities or individuals to them, for necessary actions.
Mohammed called on religious leaders, traditional rulers and community stakeholders to join hands in fostering peace and stability.
The governor outlined his administration’s efforts in improving the lives of citizens despite the current economic challenges. These include investments in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and social services.
