Natasha Lands in Kogi, Received by Mammoth Crowd

Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has landed in her constituency despite moves by the state government to stop the homecoming.

The Kogi State Police Command also issued security alerts urging the suspended lawmaker to shelve the planned rally.

The lawmaker was received in Ihima, Okehi local government area by supporters from Kogi Central’s five local government areas.

Amid music and celebration, Natasha arrived dramatically in a white helicopter, sparking cheers.

Addressing her supporters, the embattled PDP senator dismissed the government’s restrictions, maintaining she was merely celebrating Sallah with her constituents.

Natasha’s homecoming followed a curfew imposed by the Okehi LGA chairman and warnings from the police.

The Kogi Central senator had accused Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello of being behind any security threats.
