Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have impeached Speaker of the house, Mudashiru Obasa.
Obasa was impeached based on accusation of multiple statutory and financial infractions.
Meanwhile, he has been replaced by his Deputy, Lasbat Meranda.
Meranda is the lawmaker representing Apapa Constituency 1 in the state assembly.
