
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in Kogi State has cautioned motorists and residents in the state against the dangers of fuel scooping and mixed loading.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Lokoja, Deputy Corps Commander Odogiyon Moses, highlighted the catastrophic consequences of such acts.
He emphasized the need for heightened caution and urged drivers to avoid night travel, citing the limited availability of emergency response services during late hours.
Also speaking, the Kogi State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Danladi Aliyu, restated the union’s commitment to enhancing road safety.
Other stakeholders at the forum expressed appreciation for the engagement and highlighted its role in raising awareness and addressing critical safety concerns among road users.
