A Stakeholder in Edo State, Chief John Adun has called on Edo people to consider the content of the 2025 budget presented by the State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebolo rather than concentrating on a mere mistake.
Governor Okpebolo had on Tuesday, 10th of December, 2024 during the presentation struggled to pronounce the budget figure.
Reacting to the situation, Chief Adun emphasized that the budget adequately covered critical sectors of the economy which included infrastructures, health, education and others that would benefit and bring rapid development to Edo State.
Chief Adun pointed out that nobody was above mistake as even the South Africa president, Cyril Ramaphosa made same mistake and still in power and receiving massive support from the people of South Africa
He assured Edo people that governor Monday Okpebholo was willing and ready to work for Edo people, hence he should be given all the needed support to work effectively.
