The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has restated its readiness to facilitate visa processing for pilgrims in the state.
The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, gave the assurance shortly after a management meeting in his office.
While stating that the visa processing officially kick off on February 19, 2025, he called on all Directors of the Board to be fully aware that the pilgrims’ grouping system will continue as in previous years.
On his part, the Director of Hajj Operations, Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, urged those who have not yet submitted their international passports to do so immediately, as visa processing has already commenced.
Alhaji Muhammad Ghali further said the Board will collaborate with Local Government Hajj Center Officers to ensure that the pilgrims’ grouping aligns with the instructions of the Saudi Arabian authorities.
He added that the Board has completed all necessary arrangements to ensure that no intending pilgrim is left behind.
