Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced his exit from President Donald Trump’s administration in the United States.
Musk, in an X post on Wednesday night, remarked that his time scheduled for the political appointment had ended.
The tech billionaire and world’s richest man appreciated Trump for giving him the opportunity to serve in his government.
“As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending.
” @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government,” he wrote.
It was gathered that Musk exited the US government without formal conversation with Trump.
He had criticised Trump’s new tax bill on Tuesday, before announcing his exit from the US government.
