Executive Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service, EIRS, Mr Oladele Bankole-Balogun has attributed the ten point four billion naira Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, recorded in January, to the purposeful visionary leadership and direction of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
In a congratulatory message to the Governor on his one hundred days in office, signed by the Head of Corporate communications of EIRS, Mr Courage Eboigbe and made available to newsmen, the EIRS boss described the Governor as extraordinary, and defying naysayers.
He described the victory of the Governor at the polls and his actions since assumption of office as nothing short of extraordinary, noting that Edo state was truly on the rise again.
Mr Bankole-Balogun observed that the Governor had demonstrated that transformation was not just a possibility but a reality, given his focus on critical infrastructure and other areas.
He added that within one hundred days, the Governor had also propelled the Edo Revenue Service to a groundbreaking achievement, and an unprecedented milestone in the state’s history.
