Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has signed the 2025 Edo State budget appropriation Bill into Law.
The event held at the office of the Edo state Governor had the presence of some State Government functionaries and some principal members of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Governor Okpebholo while signing the budget which is six hundred and seventy five Billion, two hundred and twenty million , fifty eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty eight Naira fifty two Kobo, into law expressed optimism that the budget tagged “A Renewed Hope for a Rising Edo”, Will revive the economy of the State.
The Governor thanked menbers of the Edo State House of Assembly for a job well done.
Earlier in a remark, Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Mr Blessing Agbebaku said the House went through the budget proposal sent to them critically.
He noted that after series of diligent study, the legislative chamber decided to increase the budget of the Agricultural sector due to its significance.
