The Edo State government has cancelled restrictions on vehicular movement in tomorrow’s scheduled environmental sanitation to allow students to participate in the ongoing JAMB examination.
A government special announcement by Secretary to the State Government Musa Ikhilor stated that the monthly environmental exercise with restriction of movement will now commence on the last Saturday of May 2025.
It noted that the cancellation is premised on the concerns of candidates sitting for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which commenced on Thursday, April 24, 2025, across the country.
Despite the cancellation of restrictions on vehicular movement, the statement urged all Edo residents to keep their immediate environments clean.
It, however, restated the Edo state government’s commitment to ensuring a safer, healthier, and cleaner environment for all Edo residents.
