A couple, simply identified as Mr and Mrs Inebo in Fugar, the administrative headquarters of Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State have been kidnapped.
According to report, the suspected kidnappers also abducted one person whose identity was yet to be ascertained at press time.
The victims were said to be returning to their village after attending an event.
It was further gathered that one of the victims escaped from captivity in the process of moving them from one location to another, leaving the couple in the kidnappers’ den.
Confirming the confident, the Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Police Command, SP Moses Yamu stated that operatives of the command were combing the bush since the incident took place to ensure the safe release of the victims.
