The electorate in this Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State has been urged to be mindful of contestants who do not mean well for them and use their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to vote against them.
Senior Pastor Banner of Solution Christian Assembly, Apostle Emmanuel Igiehon, gave the advice in Benin City while speaking with our correspondent ahead of the poll.
The cleric emphasized that eligible voters should vote for candidates they know have the interest of the common man at heart, not the ones that would get into power and use state resources for selfish interests.
Apostle Igiehon also implored the electorate not to sell their votes because of the little peanuts they would get today and suffer a lot of things tomorrow.
He also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission and law enforcement agencies not to allow political gladiators to influence them to give fictitious results but to play according to the rules that govern the election so that the election would be free, fair, and credible.
