The American politician and billionaire businessman was sworn-in on Monday, January 20, 2025 for his second term at 6:00 p.m. (Nigerian time) at the US Capitol, in Washington, D.C.
Despite legal challenges, including an indictment and an FBI raid at his Mar-a-Lago residence, crowds of supporters gathered at the event to celebrate his return to office.
The day began with Trump and the First Lady, Melania attending services at St. John’s Church, marking the start of the official inauguration activities.
