Popular Nigerian singer Davido has reunited with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke.
The reunion came amid the ongoing custody battle between the singer and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Davido had sued Sophia at the Lagos State High Court in April 2024 to seek custody of Imade after accusing her of denying him access to their daughter.
On her part, Sophia opposed Davido by filing a 102-paragraph counter-affidavit, accusing Davido of refusing to fulfill his responsibility as a father after he stopped having sex with her.
Meanwhile, in a lengthy Facebook post, Sophia’s uncle and journalist, Dele Momodu, reacted to the messy battle, saying the court has referred the case for possible settlement by the alternative dispute resolution, ADR.
In a new development on Wednesday night, Davido shared a reunion photo with Imade, tagging today as the “Best day of my life.”
