The Edo State Police has arrested one 35 Year old Theophilus Osazuwa of Ogbeson Quarters, off Benin-Agbor road, for the murder of his 4yr old son named Testimony Osazuwa.
The suspect was said to have arrived his home a day to Christmas, went berserk screaming “Holy Ghost fire” then reached for the 4 year old boy and slammed him to the wall.
The child was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the young man who is known for the consumption of illicit substances was acting under the influence of those substance when he committed the crime.
Edo State commissioner of police, CP Umoru Ozigi, in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Moses Yamu, warns the general public especially youths, against the dangers of consuming illicit substances and drugs that may be detrimental to their health, endanger thier lives and that of the people around them.
