Kidnapped Anglican Archbishop, Most Rev. Prof. Godwin Okpala has been freed.
Okpala, a retired Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi, was set free alongside his driver, one month after he was abducted.
Okpala who confirmed the development in a post on his Facebook page, Thursday morning, wrote: “Praise the Lord!”
Meanwhile, hundreds of reactions followed his statement immediately, thanking God for his freedom.
The Anglican cleric had went missing on his way to Umuchu, a community in Anambra State for a burial ceremony.
