The Artisans Development and Networking Organization, ARDENET ORG, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State on his electoral victory at the Supreme Court.
Recall that a five-man panel of the apex court had on Thursday, 10th July, 2025, affirmed Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressive Congress, APC, as the duly elected governor of Edo State in the September 21, 2024 governorship election in the state.
A statement by the President of ARDENET ORG, Comrade Engr. Ugiagbe Osamuyime Xtrel, and the Director of Publicity of ARDENET ORG, Prince Favour Oviasogie, observed that the final judicial affirmation of Governor Okpebholo’s electoral mandate is a testament to the will of the good people of Edo State and a divine endorsement of his leadership.
The organisation commended Governor Okpebholo for his policies and programs geared towards youth development, noting that one of such was the recent convocation of a youth summit at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City.
According to ARDENET ORG, Governor Okpebholo’s love for youth development has set the right footing for the artisan sector to develop in Edo State and, by extension, in Nigeria.
While noting that his victory brings renewed hope and reinforces collective confidence in the rule of law and democratic values, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the governor’s administration through purposeful collaboration, skill development programs, and grassroots empowerment initiatives across the 18 local government areas of Edo State.
