The Edo State Government has introduced a free diphtheria vaccination program for residents.
The coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Anani, disclosed that the vaccination program in partnership with stakeholders is part of the government’s efforts to promote public health and prevent vaccine-preventable diseases.
She encouraged residents to visit designated centers for free vaccination.
The coordinator emphasized the importance of early detection and treatment in managing diphtheria and urged individuals with symptoms to seek medical attention promptly.
