Foremost Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has dismissed his death rumour.
He made the denial in a statement issued through his spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki.
In the statement, Igboho described reports circulating on social media of his death as false and misleading.
The freedom fighter noted that the social media post claimed further that details of his (Igboho’s) supposed death would be disclosed soon.
The statement maintained that the Yoruba Nation agitator is in good health and currently spending time with his family.
“We want to assure the general public and supporters of the Yoruba Nation movement that Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho is alive, well, and in high spirits.
“There is no truth to the rumors being spread by certain individuals and groups trying to mislead the public. This is a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image and derail the ongoing self-determination struggle,” the statement partly read.
