The Assistant APC Youth Leader ,Oredo Ward 1, Eruaga Suleiman has expressed profound confidence that Governor Monday Okpebholo will restore Edo State to its respectable position in both Nigeria’s and international sports arena .
Eruaga Suleiman made the comments while reviewing the commendable steps taken by the Governor so far in fulfillment of his campaign promises. According to the youth leader , the combined team of the Governor, the Deputy Governor , Hon. Dennis Idahosa , and the newly appointed Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission , Hon. Desmond Amadin Enabulele have the collective capacity to reawaken the full potentials of Edo State in sports .
Eruaga Suleiman said that the appointment of Hon. Enabulele was a thoughtful decision by the Governor remarking that the action will galvanize the enthusiasm of sports men and women in the state. According to Eruaga , “ Ogbe Stadium represents a proud landmark with deep inspirational memories for the people of State .” The sports arena should be creatively revitalized to advance the vision of the original builders of the stadium, the youth leader advocated .
Eruaga Suleiman concluded that a new of era of sports development will be witnessed under Governor Okphebholo.
