Nigerian model and actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has declared her daughters, Isabella and Olivia, as her “backbone.”
Annie, who recently separated from her husband, 2Face Idibia, made the remark at Sunday’s Headies Awards ceremony in Lagos.
Responding to questions from a journalist, who inquired about her family, Annie stated that the only family she has is her two daughters.
“You mean my children? My children dey Kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone,” Annie who spoke in pidgin, stated.
Annie made headlines at the event when she took a swipe at 2Face while introducing herself on stage.
Annie introduced herself as a single on stage, saying, “My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”
The development comes a day after 2Face Idibia introduced his new lover, Natasha Osawaru, to his mother.
