Gunmen Attack Senator Natasha’s Family House in Kogi

The family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has been reportedly attacked by unknown hoodlums wielding cutlasses and firearms.

A counter-insurgency expert who focused on the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama,  disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Thursday.

According to him, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, in Obeiba-Ihima area, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Makama said intelligence sources told him that the Chief Security Officer to the Senator, Yakubu Ovanja, reported the incident to security authorities.

The security expert further said Ovanja disclosed that the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. and involved at least three armed individuals who vandalized the building, including shattering window panes.

Meawnhile, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, a prominent political figure in Kogi Central Senatorial District , has not issued a public statement on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
