2025 Ballon d’Or: Salah Makes Fresh Claim about Award

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has stated that the Ballon d’Or used to drive him crazy in the past.

He made the remark while speaking with former Manchester United captain Gary Neville on Sky Sports.

Salah also expressed the hope that he has a better chance to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or due to his performances for Liverpool this season.

The Egyptian winger, who helped Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season, had recently expressed his desire to win the award for his people.

The 32-year-old has scored 33 goals and provided 23 assists in 50 games across all competitions for Liverpool this season.

The former Chelsea and AS Roma star is believed to be among the favorites to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Other favorites to compete for the award include the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal for the prestigious individual prize.
