A 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda has been nabbed by the police in Jigawa state.
She was arrested for allegedly conspiring with her former lover to kill her husband, Kamisu Haruna.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Police Command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam stated that police investigation revealed that Zahra’u poisoned her husband’s food, which he shared with two friends.
In a statement, the police spokesman stated: “the police received report that a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, from Bagata Gabas village, Kiyawa LGA, has been accused of conspiring with her ex-lover, Lawan Musa, 22, to poison her husband, Kamisu Haruna, 29.”
